Another weekly Trout Plant has brought out a crowd of hungry anglers, the trout action is best at Launch Ramp Z and with the crowded shorelines, the best reports were from boating anglers. Plenty of Striper are in the mix with Anchovies and Chicken livers working best throughout the day.

These are the following ratings:

Bass: Fair with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Bluegill: Fair with an Average size of 1 pound.
Carp: Fair with an Average size of 4 pounds.
Catfish: Fair with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Striper: Excellent with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Trout: Excellent with an Average size of 2 pounds.

Trout and striper top the catch this week. The Launch Ramp 2 Coves are the most productive trout areas, with powerbait and night crawlers as favorite baits. The New year brings on plentiful trout harvest, nightcrawlers, morning hours and powerbait are at the top of the menu. Striped bass are striking on spinner baits and topwater.
