Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca.
We continue to have snow on the ground. The Lake is full and filling the East Lake. Braving the cold is reaping rewards for the serious angler.
WINTER HOURS CONTINUE FOR ANOTHER WEEK- Thru February 28
Monday - Friday 8AM to 4PM Saturday and Sunday 6AM - 4:30PM
Best Trout Spots continue to be Lone Pine, Chambers Park and the Dike area.
Notables: Autumn Sadden caught her limit of trout on Thursday, using nightcrawlers and power bait. She was on the handicapped dock.
Ranger Charlie gives the free fishing class on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
Nature Walk: There is snow on the trail at this time.
THE DECONTAMINATION WASH IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH.
A fee is charges for the wash down. (Boats, motors, float tubes and waders to be washed.) More info under boat wash on the website.
