Today (Sunday) the ocean turned out to be too cranky to go out on. Discretion being the better part of valor plus client comfort being paramount, we stayed home. Yesterday we had trips out morning and afternoon for bottom fishing. The morning trips produced limits or near limits of Ling Cod but the Rockfish were way off the bite. The afternoon produced excellent catches of Lings and the Rockfish bite lit off again making for a strong finish to the day. Crabbing produced good numbers of crab for all the crabbers. We had no boats out for Coho Salmon Saturday as the water temps were not looking good for them.

There have been two more additions to the All-Depth Halibut openers. July 16-18 and July 30-Aug 1. Get your name in the hat early, we have had really good results with fish for all fishermen and a very good grade at that

Boats Were Out on A Nice Ocean Today

Dockside boats were out on a very nice ocean, not much swell and little wind and they had an excellent bite. Rockfish limits with great variety and over one Ling Cod per rod made for full tubs and happy fishermen. Crabbing continues to improve. One boat had over five per person and another had ten. Bottom Fishing Boats Had A Great Day

The bottom fishing boats had a great day out on the water today. Limits of Rockfish and about 1 and a 1/2 Ling per rod. And five crab per person.
