Striped Bass: Similar to last week. Chicken liver bit is still going strong with many fish being hooked over near the dam and inlet. Surprisingly the boils have picked up over in the East End with almost every evening aloha bu the time they start, boats are due back. 

Bluegill: Use crickets and meal worms. Jigging or fly lining a worm is a very productive way to fish. 

Catfish: Many large fish have been being caught at the inlet. Some pushing double digit numbers. 

Largemouth Bass: A few of our lake regulars have caught some quality bass. Some topwater action but mostly plastic worms and soft plastic swimsuits with underpins. 

Trout: No Action

Carp: No Action

Striped Bass: As always most bites are coming to anglers who fish chicken liver over near the inlet and dam. Some anglers have also been fishing Umbrella Rigs with mentionable success. Bluegill: Use crickets or mealworms throughout the lake. Sometimes it is best to fly line these baits, otherwise a drop shot can be effective. Striped Bass: Try chicken liver or other cut baits near the dam and inlet. Always keep an eye out for boiling schools. Use top water lures or jerk baits for foaming fish. Trolling can also be a very productive task. Bluegill: We recommend bringing crickets and fly lining them in the east end. Another excellent bait is a whole mealworm or nightcrawler.
