Smoky conditions continue to punish the eastern slope. With clear days far and few between, fishing has been on the back burner here on lower twin. Although the few days of reprieve yielding decent slob rainbows. Local man Keith nailed a 6lb 6oz rainbow trolling a custom j-plug down 7 colors. Also a few in the 5lb range coming out of Robinson Creek. The Kokanee are in the creeks running to spawn. Be mindful and always check regs on the waters you fish. This time of year, Robinson Creek regulations change. If you see anyone fishing/poaching closed waters, report it! Here on Lower Twin we take catch and release and ethical fishing practices serious.
