Striper remained strong during this past week, but let up a little over the weekend. Smaller striper still being reported near the dam, with larger striper coming in at the inlet and the channels leading into the East end and the Ramp #2 area. Anchovies are still a good bet, however, more fish are starting to be caught off of chicken liver. Largemouth still biting, but reports put them most active along the South shore, hitting slow sinking baits such as night crawlers and plastic worms. More catfish are showing up, inlet is the best and they are mostly hitting chicken liver.
These are the following fish reports.
Bass: Good with an Average size of 3lbs.
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good with an Average size of 8lbs.
Catfish: Fair with an Average size of 4lbs.
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent with an Average size of 1-3 lbs.
Trout: Poor.
