Texas Fish Report

Striped Bass: The striper bite has remained a bit stagnant with few fish reported. If you prefer to target this species we would suggest using deeper diving hard baits or even trolling though the lake in hoped to connect to one of these beauties.

Bluegill: Medium action. Very possible to break wide open in the right spot fishing with mealworms or crickets. Use a small bb split shot and wait for the strike on the fall.

Catfish: Slowed a bit this week but still catches being reported near  the inlet. The lake’s water level is very low.

Largemouth Bass: A few regulars have reported decent jerk bait fishing. Another successful bait of recent has been the good ole Senko, wacky rig preferred.

Trout: Low action but trout plants have been coming in. Powerbait is always a good way to go.
