Texas Fish Report

Hi Gang,

We returned this morning from our Jim's Custom Rods 3 day. We never saw much in the way of bluefin during our time on the grounds, only small dabs and we only managed to catch 3 bluefin for the trip. We did scratch at kelp paddy yellowtail and had some good bonito fishing for an hour our last day with fish up to 12 pounds. Not the outcome we were expecting in the fish departmemnt but we had an awesome group of anglers and everyone enjoyed themselves. A big thank you to Jim Ptacnik for hosting the trip and for his generous giveaways including a few custom wrapped Seeker rods. Thank you to everyone that joined us on the trip.
