Plenty of relatively small bass are on tap for Lake Oroville anglers, reported Fil Torres at Oroville Outdoors. "The numbers of bass are up, but the average size is smaller", said Torres. "The action is typical of Lake Oroville as we head into summer. It's great for families and kids, with lots of slot-size bass hitting on dropshot-rigged plastics and tubes at around 30 feet in the middle fork."
Torres added, A few nice catfish up to nine pounds have been hitting at 30 feet during the day in the middle and south forks. Most are hitting on live minnows or cut baits."
