Catfish were stocked yesterday and are being caught throughout the lake. Lake Wohlford cats respond well to cut mackerel or chicken liver. Stop by the ranger station for a dough-bait recipe that works well on both catfish and carp. The rising lake level combined with an abundance of baitfish is making the bass fishing challenging right now. Catfish action has been a little sluggish. The lake has risen several feet in the last couple of weeks which could mean there is a surplus of food for the catfish to forage. Lake Wohlford cats respond well to cut mackerel or chicken liver. Stop by the ranger station for a dough-bait recipe that works well on both catfish and carp.
