WE ARE NOW OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6 AM. CLOSING TIME FOR SHORE FISHING IS 7:45 PM
It has been pretty warm up here this week. The fishing has been fair to good. Surprisingly there have been quite a few one hour limits. Trolling is the secret.
Best Trout Bait: Inflated Nightcrawlers, Power Bait
Best Spots: Dam Area, Lone Pine Area, Buoy Line at Dam
Notables:
- Jason Huff of Imperial Beach got 4 trout at the Dam. 1 1/2 pound was the largest, using inflated nightcrawler.
- Tom, Steve, & John from Lakeside each got their limit of trout and 15 Crappie. Down at the Dam Buoy line using nightcrawlers. Largest was 3 pounds.
- Marcus Nobel & Justin Schmidt of San Diego each limited out on Trout using Night Crawler w/ Bobber at Lone Pine in the cat tail area. Their largest was 2 1/2 pounds.
Lots of limits still coming out. Best fishing is trolling all over the lake.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH. A FEE IS CHARGED.
