Texas Fish Report

Not much change since last week on the Truckee River.

Flows and weather about the same, and trouts eating the same stuff.

A bit muggy, a bit smoky, and hot in the afternoon. Water temps are good in the morning and warm later in the day. Typical August conditions.

Fish are still in fast water. Tight line nymphing is the rig to target that water with. Crayfish, and big stones should be your anchor, something smaller up top. We get a lot of nocturnal stones this time of year, they’re big.
