Caples Lake: The lake is ice over but is unstable to venture out on yet
Red Lake: The lake is iced over but is not stable yet
Blue Lake Lower: The first gate is closed until spring
Burnside Lake: Road is closed until spring
East Carson River: Fishing has been slow
Carson River: Water levels fluctuate this time of year, so use caution
Indian Creek Reservoir: The lake is open to fishing
Heenan Lake : Closed to fishing for the season
Topaz Lake: The lake level has come up about 8 feet
West Walker River: Open to catch and release with artificial lures or flies with barbless hooks
East Walker River: Fishing season is closed until the last Saturday in April

Caples Lake: The ice has started to form, but is not safe to venture out on
Red Lake: As of this week the ice has not yet started to form on the lake
Blue Lake Lower: The gates are closed
Indian Creek Reservoir: The lake and surrounding area is scheduled to open on December 1st
West Carson River: Fishing is open to catch and release artificial lures and fly with barbless hooks only
East Carson River: Fishing is open to catch and release, artificial lures or flies with barbless hooks only
East Carson River (NV): The flows are good and have been fluctuating
Topaz Lake: The lake level has come up a few feet in the last couple weeks
West Walker River: Open to catch and release fishing with artificial lures or flies only with barbless hooks
Walker River: Open all year to open fishing with lures or bait
Heenan Lake : Open to fishing until November 30th
