Texas Fish Report

.March is just a great month. Trouts get out of the cold water funk, and you can have some good dry fly fishing.

Streamers are downright good on the Truckee River right now, and so is about everything else.

If you like to fish on top, great time of year for the dry droppers rigs, or a dry if you see fish rising. Blue wings, midges, and Skwala Stoneflies in the afternoons. One of my favorite ways to fish is up along the banks with the dry droppers.

Flows are almost 500 cubes here in the Hirsch. Great wading and floating flows.
