Excellent yellowtail fishing to start our trip out. We arrived around 1300 to our destination after a few days of travel and it was like they knew we were coming to feed them. Boiling around chasing sardines and surface irons. But all techniques were working today as long as you had a line in the water (yoyo, dropper loop, and fly line). We have beautiful weather and the guys are having fun. Hope to catch some more throughout the night and tomorrow morning. Check back soon.

We wrapped up our day with another stellar day of yellowtail fishing. Beautiful grade of fish coming over the rail ranging from 20 to 40 pounds. We are putting our yellowtail gear away and getting ready for the Bluefin Tuna bite. We'll be traveling for the next couple days to get up in the zone we need to be in. We left Saturday afternoon on our Melton Tackle 8 Day Trip with a good group of anglers. We are headed south targeting yellowtail to start our trip off.
