What's up guys! Looks like the rainy weather is over with for a little while but that didn't stop some fisherman from still making it out! Here's a recent nice catch from a rainy day! Even with some rainy weather recently the trout bite has been pretty consistent. We stocked lakes 3 and 6 on the 27th of January with 500 lbs of trout each. Still a trophy fish from the re-opener being caught here and there as well. Best bet is to use powerbait or mini jig for the trout. Garlic and salmon peach scent has been working the best for powerbait. Rooster tails, kastmasters, atomic tubes, and rat tails have been the most popular for mini jigs. The bass bite has been pretty slow recently with all this back and forth weather. With more consistent sunny days ahead the bass bite may look to improve. If you're feeling hungry while you're out here fishing stop on by Angry Pete's Pizza! Located next door to the general store they serve Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, sweets, and beer! We hope to see you out here!
