Texas Fish Report

Yep, it's me holding a couple of trout from last year's trout plant I was at Rotary Park and landed a couple of rainbow trout. I was fishing from shore using a panther martin spinner in a yellow and red spot and for the most part due to the weather, we are having trout are about the only fish out there that our anglers might get to the table. The stripers, the large mouth and small mouth bass are just holding up and not much activity.

Up on Lake Mohave the fish are just holding and not even the shad are bringing them up to feed. Here along the shores of the Colorado river below the Davis dam it's the birds that are feeding on the fish as they are not going for lures or bait. this all will pass soon, and we will be getting some more positive news.
