Eric Risen weighed in a 5.3 lbs bass this afternoon that he got towards the senior shore line and then on his second cast got a 6 lbs bass 7 minutes after weighing the 5.3 lbs bass!

The final catfish plant went in yesterday and not surprisingly they are catching catfish currently in Boat Dock Cove and along Senior Shoreline. Lake Wohlford cats prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver. Stop by the Ranger Station for a dough-bait recipe that works well for either catfish or carp.
Crappie can be found in the early mornings underneath the crappie float or in the vicinity of Bass Point. Crappie respond best to mini-jigs or live golden shiners and bite best in the early mornings or late afternoons.
Small to medium sized Largemouth Bass are being caught. The bass lurk around structure. They will chase shad raps, crawdads, or dark colored plastics.
