What better way to celebrate a birthday than to go fishing!
Celebrating Cescer Villanueva, Cescer Villanueva, Moisses Villanueva, and Julio Villanueva were able to catch 5 rainbow trout with orange and white mouse tails on a boat at the east end of the lake

Wohlford LakeThe lake is closed for fishing and to the general public on weekdays throughout the fall, as it is every year. We will return to our seven day a week schedule in mid- December at the beginning of trout season. Catfish can be found throughout the lake but seem to favor either end. Lake Wohlford trout prefer mackerel or chicken liver. Stop by the ranger station for a dough-bait recipe that works well on both catfish and carp. Small to medium sized...... Read More
