After much fight, Rod Kier finally caught his monster bass with a weight of 8.3 lbs! The bass was found off of the first fishing dock this morning and was released back into the lake.

Wohlford LakeThe trout fishing has picked up a little as a result of this week’s stock. Some anglers have had limited success with salmon eggs on the east end. Nancy Reynaga of Los Angeles had the biggest trout of the week with her 4.00# caught on a nightcrawler in Boat Dock Cove. Small to medium sized bass are being caught around structure.
