The windmill was cranking yet again today but we opted to take advantage of the window we had this morning and headed off to the ole stomping grounds to harvest some eyes. The bite was pretty good on our first slide pulling 12 of their fish. I opted to pull gear and run back down hill and make another slide since the wind was not in our favor. Second slide we only did 5 fish as I couldn’t get the angle of the dangle going and by the time the lake was showing her teeth so we had to cut the trip a little short but John and his gang was more than happy with what we were able to pull off considering the predicted forecast and we’ll see them over the summer!
