Returned from our 1.5 this morning with a final count of 32 bluefin, 18 yellowtail, and 60 bonito.

Finesse fishing has been the name of the game on the bluefin 20 and 25 pound test with a fluorocarbon leader to match with either a size 2 or size 4 circle hook worked best yesterday.

Majority of our yellowtail were caught on the yo-yo jig in addition to either fishing 25 or 30 pounds test a fluorocarbon leader to match with a size 1 or 1/0 J hook.

Bring your heavy night time setup as that’s always a possibility 250-400 gram knife jigs

And some heavy weights as we can fill the bags on rockfish to fill the gaps in between
