Texas Fish Report

We hope everyone had a great 3-day weekend!

It sure was busy here at the lake.

Both Convict Lake Resort and McGee Creek Lodge

were sold out, and the marina was busy all weekend.

Anglers were very successful with catches ranging from 2 to 4 pounds. The larger ones stocked a couple weeks ago are still out there waiting for a delicious treat.

The cooler weather has brought them closer to the surface. They like nightcrawlers, bright colored PowerBaits and anything garlic scented. All of these attractants can be found right here in our General Store along with great human snacks, as well!
