The lake is currently closed on weekdays, but remains open on the weekends. We will re-open for weekday fishing in mid-December following the first trout stock. We are closing a half an hour earlier due to the shorter days The city of Escondido and Lake Wohlford are updating their fees starting September 15, 2024 see city website for more details.
