6 am the Velocity left the Santa Cruz Harbor with 18 fisherman. They were fishing at Soquel Hole. At the end of the day they caught one twelve pound Salmon. They were mooching with anchovies. The Velocity passengers were mooching off Moss Landing. The 24 fisherman caught 3 Salmon. The fish were caught between 60 and 140 feet down. The Salmon were around 20 pounds. These fish are big but still not to many are being caught.Lets hope it gets better soon We have room now on our boats so get your reservations early. The Velocity fisherman were fishing off Point Pinos Saturday.The Fisherman caught 4 Salmon. The fish ranged from 14 to 31 pounds. They were caught shallow , 40 to 80 feet down.
