Texas Fish Report

Small to medium sized Largemouth Bass are biting near structure. They are hitting crankbaits, crawdads, and dark colored plastics.

 

Several large catfish in the twenty - thirty-pound range caught in the month of June. Most of the action taking place near the west buoy line and along Senior Shoreline. Shrimp appears to be the hot bait for catfish right now.

 

Crappie are being caught underneath the Crappie Float or by boaters drifting. The best times to fish for crappie are in the early mornings and late afternoon/early evening Crappie are most often caught using live golden shiners or crappie jigs.
