Fishing was absolutely ridiculous at the islands today

After a 3 year closure, we were at the islands today fishing on absolutely ridiculous schools of large grade rockfish and ling cod. Pods of whale swimming around the boat, including a pair of blue whales.. The weather was absolutely flat and gorgeous.. by 11 AM we had finished up for our entire boat full limits of rockfish and Ling cod to 27 pounds. I have a light ad going out tomorrow and the weather is absolutely flat. It will be a trip to remember. If you can make it out.

300 rockfish (30 limits plus crew)

60 ling cod (30 limits plus crew to 27

300 sand dabs

Limits by 11am and back at the dock early
