I recently caught several trout at Lake Merced in San Francisco. Fishing conditions have been encouraging, and the lake continues to provide solid opportunities for local anglers.

Many fishermen have shared that the lake has great potential, and that additional cleanup or improvements could further enhance fishing quality, recreation, and overall visitor experience. With continued care and attention, the lake could become an even stronger asset for both anglers and the surrounding community.
