Excel comes home early due to huge swells

Hello Anglers,

We arrived in San Diego around 1000 due to a very rough ride up the line. Wind was blowing 30 knots and the swell was huge! But we made it home safe. Our trip totals were for 20 anglers.... 175 yellowfin tuna 209 yellowtail 99 wahoo Five biggest fish were: Steve Rankin 243.0 yft John Montgomery 216.5 yft Bob Orth 180.8 yft Marc Monforte 167.5 yft Dolores Wiesenhutter 155.0 yft Thank you to all of the anglers who came out for the Ralph Mikkelson 17-day trip. Hello Anglers, We fished the ridge again today but the tuna never showed up. Steady fishing on school sized Yellows, Cabrilla, and Grouper kept us busy for the a.m. hours, but we had to leave around noon to head up the line if we want to fish at the islands tomorrow afternoon.
