Texas Fish Report

Another fine day of Salmon fishing !!
Still getting used to fishing from the Cal Dawn 1. We’re making some minor tweaks to the rod positioning for Salmon trolling as the boat has primarily been used for drifting in the past - (Rockfish & Lingcod, Stripers, Halibut…). Getting it dialed in though. Today we had 18 Salmon for the day.
    We ended up fishing right next to the New Cal Dawn & the Cal Dawn 2… creating a Cal Dawn Triangle at one point. Deck Boss Jonathan was up in the wheelhouse and noticed that the Halibut marking on the fish finder looked scared…. 😂🤣
