Friday Offshore Updates

• The Pacifica checked in from their 2.5 day with 100 Yellowfin Tuna. Captain Andrew reported that this grade of Yellowfin is in the 12-25 pound range.

Friday Returning Trips

• The Highliner returned from their 2.5 day trip with 196 Yellowfin Tuna, 13 Yellowtail, 1 Striped Marlin and 84 Dorado.
• The Voyager returned from their 2 day trip with 56 Yellowfin Tuna, 55 Skipjack and 1 Dorado for 8 anglers..
• The Tribute finished their Overnight trip with 100 Yellowfin Tuna, 2 Dorado and 1 Striped Marlin.
• The Outer Limits finished their Overnight trip with 110 Yellowfin Tuna and 44 Dorado.

Friday Sea Watch Full Day

• The Sea Watch on their full-day trip returned with 280 Yellowfin Tuna, 3 Dorado, 13 Skipjack Tuna and 3 Yellowtail for 28 anglers. Passports are not currently required for these trips. Current sniper-style jigs have been getting bit well, but it’s also a good idea to bring a 20–30 lb live-bait setup.

Friday San Diego Full Day

• The San Diego finished up their trip with 186 Yellowfin Tuna, 6 Skipjack, 2 Yellowtail and 9 Dorado. Fly-lined live bait on 15–30 lb tackle has been getting it done, along with smaller-sized sniper-style jigs. Be sure to bring multiple hook sizes, ranging from #2 to 2/0. Passports are not required.

New Seaforth Half Day

• The New Seaforth has been seeing some excellent local action on its half-day trips, with anglers getting into Bass, Barracuda, and Bonito, along with opportunities at quality Yellowtail. A 20–30 lb live-bait setup with #4 through 2/0 hooks is recommended. Surface irons, stickbaits, and smaller sniper-style jigs have also been producing well. Rod rentals and fishing licenses are available at the landing during check-in.
