The weather has not cooperated this past week. It was cool and blustery. However, it looks to be a great week-end and next week is supposed to be warm and not windy.

BEST TROUT BAIT: Green worms (fake), Rainbow Power Bait, Night crawlers

BEST SPOTS: Pumphouse cove, Dike, T-dock

The Free fishing class is held every Saturday at 10:00 am. Meet Ranger Charlie at the Launch Ramp. The decontamination wash down is required for all private vessels and motors before a launch. Also, float tubes and waders must be washed down before using the lake. There is a fee for the wash down.

Fishing has been excellent again this past week. The wildlife is abundant near the Lake. Please watch for deer on and along the highway on your way to the Lake. GREETINGS FROM LAKE CUYAMACA THE TACKLE SHOP IS OPEN EVERYDAY 6:00 AM TO 6:00 PM SHORE FISHING GOES UNTIL 7:30 DFG DELIVERED TROUT THIS WEEK Fishing has been excellent this past week with trout and crappie limits being taken regularly.
