Just finished up our day and are on our way in. We started off the morning fishing for sculpin and it was wide open. We finished up the sculpin fishing at noon and headed in to the bass area... Started kind of slow, catching a few fish here and there. At about 3 o'clock the bass went wide and a few barracuda popped up as well... We ended up with limits of sculpin, 198 sand bass, 11 barracuda, and 2 sole... If you guys would like to join us, please call the office and make a reservation at 562-432-8993... Captain Kevin Nguyen of the Native Sun reports that despite the Sand Bass slowing down to almost nil, it is a good day on the water, and they will fish some Sculpin before returning to the Bass in the afternoon... He reports that nearly the entire local fleet showed up soon after they did on the Scuplin spots. The twilight is on to go tonight also fishing Bass and Sculpin if necessary.
