Captain Drew Card called in about their first jig strike this morning at 6:45 am. They had a double jig strike and a couple of bait fish. They are experiencing great weather today and hopes are high for todays fishing. He wants everyone to know that they have nightly Albacore trips departing from Patriot Sportfishing. They have one going tonight that is a definite go with a very light load. If you are interested make sure you give Patriot's a call at 805-595-7200.

Bill Cavanaugh called in with an update on their day on the water. They ended up catching 13 Albacore. The Pacific Horizon had over 20 Albacore today. Overall he liked what he saw. He thinks the lack of fish biting has to do with the full moon and clear skies.
