Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. Tackle shop is open 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. Shore fishing ends at 6:15 pm. There were two trout stockings the week of October 18th for a total of 2400 pounds. Free fishing class is held every Saturday at 10:00 am at the Launch Ramp. The decontamination washdown is required for all private vessels and motors before a launch. Notables:
1) Paul Seaborn of Escondido caught 1 trout weighing 6.2 pounds on green power bait at the Handicapped area.
2) Leah Shah of El Cajon caught 5 trout and a Bass that weighed 1.6 pounds at Heron Point using green power bait.
3) Rick Salazar of Bellflower caught a Catfish weighing 10.2 pounds using chicken livers on the North Finger Jetty.
4) Kalli Hiebing, 3 1/2 years old of San Diego caught 5 trout, the largest at 1.5 pounds on a night crawler at Lone Pine.
