Hi Everyone
Just got word from Capt Brian on the Ultra (1:45 PM Monday May 28) in the middle of wide open yellowtail fishing with fish running between 20-35 pounds.?? He wasn't sure exactly how many they had (between 25 and 30 yellowtail with many more fish lost), but it sounds really good.?? We didn't have an overnight scheduled tonight, but with the outstanding yellowtail fishing we put one together.?? It is on the Ultra leaving tonight at 9pm fishing Tuesday (May 29).?? Limited to 8 anglers at $220.????
Capt Mike Thompson on the Amigo called in about the same time with 9 white sea bass (25-35+ pounds) and 5 yellowtail, he is currently on the other side of the San Clemente Island from where the Ultra is in their bite so it sounds like he won't be able to get in on the action happening right now. This week should be red hot for quality yellowtail and white sea bass.???? Weather is great and after the holiday it should only get better.??
The Amigo has an open party overnight leaving Tuesday May 29 at 10pm fishing Weds May 30.?? Limited to 16 anglers at $175.?? Capt Mike Thompson will be running this trip.?? I think this will be the trip to be on for this week. The Amigo also has an open party overnight leaving Thursday May 31 at 10pm to fish Friday June 1.?? Limited to 18 anglers at $175.??
The Aggressor also has an overnight trip leaving Weds May 30 at 10pm to fish Thursday May 31.?? They will be targeting yellowtail and white sea bass at San Clemente .?? Limited to 20 anglers at $140.
I will send out a complete schedule in the next day or so.?? May be the best fishing we have had so far for quality and quantity for overnight trips.
