Marina hours are from 7 am to 5 pm and the park hours are 7 am to 5 pm. We just had a 3000 lb. Trout plant on December 2 and a 750 lb. Trout plant on November 30. Trout fishing has been amazing. The water temperature is between 52 and 54 degrees. Shore fisherman and boaters alike are pulling out their limits. Our trout fishermen have been using a variety of Bait Power Eggs in White, Pink and Green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in Fluorescent Pink and Green, Power Bait in White, Rainbow with Glitter, Orange Twist with Glitter, Lemon Twist and Power Bait Corn. Blue fox #2, Kastmasters, Rupala Firetiiger and Gold Super Duper. If you plan on boating, early is best with the surge in Trout being caught we have seen the number of fishermen rise. Largemouth and Smallmouth have had a few pulled out using Spoons and Crank Bait. Striper fishing has slowed down some but the bait of choice is still Anchovies, Sardines and Night Crawlers. As a reminder, we have a half off on all boats on an all day boat rental every wednesday.

Ron Cruz of Vallejo caught 5 Trouts with the largest weighing 5 lbs. 8 oz. using a Rapala at the Swim Beach on 11/28/10. Matt Nola of San Jose caught 8 Trouts with the stringer weighing 24 lbs. 3 oz. the largest weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz using Power Bait and Power Bait Worms at the East Beach on 12/01/10. Ruel Azaula of Livermore caught 5 Trouts withthe stringer weighing 11 lbs. 1 oz. using Power Bait with Power worms at the East Beach on 12/01/10. Frank Juliano of San Ramon cauught a 7 lb. 1 oz.
