The weather was so beautiful this past week, however most people failed to take advantage for the great weather to go fishing. This past week, there were so few fishermen that reports are spotty at best. Trouts are doing fair off of worms flaoted up off the bottom and Power Bait near Ramp#2. Best colors of Powerbait have been chartreuse, garlic and the ever popular rainbow. Some reports of trout coming in off of kastmasters and rooster tails, most of those reports are from boat fishermen. We are due for a stock the week of 12-15-10. Striper are hitting descent most in the smaller pound range. Chicken liver and anchovies working well for them. Striper spots this past week included the East End, Ramp #2 area and the Inlet. Catfish still hitting in deep waters along the North Shore, chicken liver is your best bet, but you have to hunt the cats down. Some bass and bluegill action but only enough to point you in the direction of the East End and South Shore to look for them. Happy Fishing and Happy Tails.
Rate the action based over the past week:
Bass ==> Fair
Bluegill ==> Fair
Carp ==> Poor
Catfish ==> Fair
Striper ==> Good
Trout ==> Good
