It was another week filled with ups and downs, but we got enough reports of fishing at our lake. Striper and trout remain the top action, in fact other than a few bass being reported, these two fishes were the only action. Trout remained strong in the early morning on Powerbait and worms near Ramp #2 and some larger trout were also caught in the East End off of worms as well. Striper fishing is still somewhat hit and miss, especially from shore, but the action seems to be concentrated around Ramp#2 and the East End. While there are still reports of striper coming in near the dam and the inlet, there have been more reports from the two arms of the lake. Anchovies seem to be the best bait right now, but chicken liver remains a good option. Morning bait is still the best, but there have been several reports that the afternoon bite for the striper is improving. Not too much to report on the bass other than a few were caught off of worms and some plastics. Good Luck Fishing and Happy Tails.
