"We had 15 tuna for the day," wrote Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates on the evening of February 1, "and had a couple of losses on big fish late. Sonny Jones got a 203-pounder in the evening. The other fish throughout the day were 120 to 175 pounds. We will give it the morning and start heading up the line before lunch."
