Even with a stock under the belt, the lake failed to produce good numbers of trout this weekend, which is hardly surprising due to the recent warm weather in Southern California. Best bet for those late season would be in the East End by boat using lures or blown-up worms. Deeper waters near ramp # 2 may also produce some stocked trout by using powerbait.

Striper action was fair. Boat action was the best with the dam and inlet moving into the spotlight. Anchovies have been the best striper bait. If you are using a boat, chicken liver has also been working.

Some Bass are starting to move into the shallows. some action has been seen by hitting slowly retrieved bouncing off the bottom. Look for more Bass to start moving into the shallows in the East End and along the South Shore.
A few Bluegill and a couple of catfish but not much to report on them.

Trout were the best bet this past week. With the temps dropping so low, the trout were cruising the shallows looking for food, and several fishermen found them willing to tak their bait as well. The weather was big news this past week as it kept most fishermen from fishing the lake, however those who did brave the weather were rewarded. Trout fishing picked up drastically, especially for the larger hold-overs as the cooler weather brought them back in to the shallows and searching for food.
