Ventura Landing ~ 04/30/11 ~ 2 BOATS, 50 ANGLERS ~ REPORT

Today we had 2 boats & 50 anglers, aboard the Pacific Dawn and Island Spirit. Both boats had charters TARGETING ROCKFISH today, with good success. The Dawn reported limits of rockfish & 2 lingcod for 14 anglers. The Island Spirit had 36 anglers reporting 302 rockfish, 1 lingcod, and 1 huge rock sole (pictured above).

Weather was great, with east winds keeping the sea flat. Looking forward to this upcoming week simply because of the great weather we are about to encounter.

Friday- Island Spirit 3/4 Day

Saturday- Island Spirit 3/4 Day / Pacific Dawn Overnight

Sunday- Island Spirit 3/4 Day / Pacific Dawn Overnight
