Hello Anglers, We were fortunate enough to stumble upon an area of birds, dolphins, whales, and bait just outside the ridge where we had excellent fishing on 40 pound tuna. At times, we would locate a school that would really charge the boat and everyone would have one on. A majority of this fish is 40 pound range but there are several 60-90 pounders mixed in. This is exactly what we were looking for to start off our trip. Tomorrow, we will spend another day to try for a second round on these tuna and then try for trophies for the remainder of the trip. The weather is still good with 12 kts. of wind and just a little swell. Wish us luck........ JUSTIN

Hello Anglers, Today was pretty much another travel day for us. We did stop briefly on the ridge to pick up some yellows and small tuna for a nice fresh fish dinner.
