Rally on the kite

Hello Anglers, Our day at the island started off on the slow side with just a few yellows for the morning. Just before lunch things started to perk up when we were seeing signs of tuna crashing around. We had a nice rally on the kite where we boated a dozen or so reel quick. After that, we started to hook them steady on the fly lined sardines with 40 pound, but we just couldn't land very many. Now frustrated, we decided to head east and try our hand at yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck........

Albies are the good ones!

Hello Anglers, We had a productive day offshore with steady fishing on albacore and yellowfin. Our totals were 45 longfin, 40 yellowfin, 20 dorado, and 15 yellowtail. All the albies are good ones at 25-40 pounds. I can't say enough about the weather, it is flat calm. We are going to be in tomorrow morning and will head back out on a 5-day trip....... Read More
