Fishing has been terrific. Jess Ranch stocked us with 1700 pounds of Rainbows on Wednesday. The load included quite a few large trophy trout. The weather is finally becoming warmer for us sun worshipers. Nice to not be cold all the time.

DON'T FORGET THE FREE FISHING CLASS WHICH IS HELD EVERY SATURDAY AT 10 AM AT THE LAUNCH RAMP.

WE ARE NOW ALLOWING KAYAKS AND CANOES TO LAUNCH AT LAKE CUYAMACA.

J. Wagner of Ramona caught the 5th tagged trout off the Handicap Pier. He was using Chartreuse power bait.

Fishing has been fantastic at Lake Cuyamaca. Mt. Lassen stocked the lake with trophy trout that are 14 pounds or larger as well as 5 tagged trout last week. So far only 2 of the tagged trout have been cought. The tagged trout will win you a nice lake prize when you turn it in to the tackle shop.
