Hello Anglers, Today we fished offshore again looking for kelp paddies. We found several nice kelps with plenty of yellowtail to keep everyone busy. Wind is laying down and tomorrow we will be focusing on yellowtail at the ridge.

Good sign of bluefin

Hello Anglers, Today found us battling windy conditions in search of early season albacore. After a few short stops, we managed to capture a handful of longfins. There was a good sign of bluefin in the area but we were not able to get them to cooperate. With more wind in the forcast, we will continue our search offshore. We will keep you posted......... Penn Reels 7 day trip

Hello Anglers, Today we departed on our annual Penn Reels 7 day trip. With a mix of familiar faces and some new ones alike, we loaded up on sardines and cleared the point around 1pm. Weather is a bit windy but the ride down is still a nice one. After a tackle seminar, the rest of the afternoon was spent rigging tackle for tomorrow's fishing.
