Hello Anglers,
Today we awoke to very screwy conditions and they did not turn around until 1100. When the current straightened out we started to catch fish. All afternoon until 1830 we kept one to six fish going with most of the fish in the 50 to 65 pound range. We ended up with 5 over 100 pounds including a really big one that taped out around 180 pounds. Angler Steve Jansen fought the fish all the way to the boat on 60 pound Big Game line and 20 feet from the boat, a hammerhead took a little bite out of the tail end. Deckhand Richard Utter, taking a bite out of the fish, and Jordan Richard give Steve a hand hoisting the fish up.We also had some yellowtail to 45 pounds and some big wahoo to go with our catch today. We are going to try our luck here tomorrow so we will check in tomorrow. Shawn and the crew
