Hello Anglers,

Today was our first day of fishing on our Let's Talk Hook Up 6 day and we started by looking for kelps for Dorado but the few we saw were not holding any fish. We fished the second part of our day for yellowtail and we found a few biters as soon as we dropped the anchor. 15 to 22 pound yellowtail with a few in the 25 to 28 pound fish were what we caught and we always had one or two fish going at a time. Steady fishing for us until 1800 when it got pretty picky so we tried a spot for a white sea bass but that did not work. Tomorrow we are going to try offshore in a different area of water than we have been in for the last few months and hopefully we can put together a day. Wish us luck. Shawn and the crew

Quality yellowtail

Hello Anglers,

Today we spent the day at the island and had a very slow pick on 30 to 70 pound yellowfin and quality yellowtail fishing to go with it. The weather was very nice and we had a good show by the white sharks around the boat as well. Tomorrow we are going to try our hand at some albacore and hope we can put a few fish on the boat. Hello Anglers,

Today was by far the toughest day we have had this year. The weather was favorable but our albacore was not. For the day we picked up one albacore and one 20 pound yellowtail for the day. We fished a few kelps and had good action on small yellowfin but we released them all. Tomorrow we are getting to the dock in the morning and we will be leaving on a 'Lets Talk Hook-Up' 5 day trip.
