Hello Anglers,

Today we fished yellowtail and saw good sign everywhere we went around the island. We could only get a few handfuls of fish off of each spot but we put together a day on the 15 to 25 pound yellowtail. Most of our fish were on the yo yo jigs and they had to be fished on the heavy gear because the seals gave us a lot of grief.Tomorrow we are going to see if we can get a few more albacore and try for some bluefin. Trying for the big one.

Hello Anglers,

Today we concentrated on trying for the big bluefin. They were a very finiky fish today and we only hooked one and ended up losing the fish due to a bad spot in the line.For the boats that tried for the bluefin it sounds like they each caught one.
