Tuna hooked on squid

Hello Anglers,
Our day started around 0445 with a couple of tuna hooked on squid and 80 pound line. It was the start of a slow steady bite on 40 to 100 plus pound yellowfin. All day we had at least one fish hooked with the exception of noon to 1430 when it was pretty slow. We had a few big yellowtail and some wahoo to keep it mixed up as well. For the day we had 36 yellowfin and 11 of them were over 100 pounds and I would say the majority of the rest were 65 to 85 pounds. We are going to try here again tomorrow and see if we can pick a few more of this quality tuna. Reported by: Shawn Steward

10-30-2003Hello Anglers, Today we fished the ridge all day and yes the weather was flat calm again. Throughout the day we had good action on all of the spots fishing for yellowfin and yellowtail with a few wahoo and grouper to 100 pounds thrown in there to keep it interesting.
